Thursday 3 October, 10am – 12pm – plant care in the nursery
Sunday 13 October, 10am – 12pm – weeding and open day preparations in the dunes
Sunday 20 October – Wara Wayingga Tennyson Dunes Open Day
Dune activities include planting and weeding. Please bring enclosed shoes, gloves, hat, raincoat, drinking water, and sun protection.
For this month’s dune events and open day, please meet us in the southern carparks.
Nursery activities include planting seeds and potting on seedlings. The nursery is located on the corner of Atkin St and Cudmore Tce. Next to the Henley and Grange Arts Society Building.
Come see our Open Day to learn more about the plants, animals, and geology of Tennyson Dunes. There will also be tours and workshops, including traditional Buandig-Ngarrindjeri weaving using native sedges.
